At 188 square feet, the 72 staterooms of the Amadeus Silver II offer the most spacious accommodations of any ship in our fleet, all decked out with the high-tech hospitality and lovely decor that have won awards for the Amadeus Silver. With views from the panoramic windows stretching the width of the cabin, the passing scenery is yours to enjoy in all its glory. With our innovative French Balcony, you can lower the windows with the touch of a button to enjoy your own private balcony when the weather is fine. All staterooms include a seating area, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, cabinet, safe and our Amadeus Signature Bed. Staterooms are located on all Decks, with the Mozart and Strauss Decks including the innovative French Balcony.

With their own private, walk-out exterior balconies and lounge areas, the 12 suites of the Amadeus Silver II are ideal for sipping your morning coffee or watching the starry skies at night. With 284 square feet of space to relax, you may not want to leave the ship at all! All suites include a luxurious bath and separate shower, Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, and a safe as well as a minibar. Itinerary

Day 1 – August 5, 2018

Amsterdam, Netherlands

With your free time, view the famous Canal Parade of the Amsterdam Gay Pride. Every year the parade is visited by more than 400,000 people. Alternatively, wander along the banks of the Vltava River, relax at an outdoor restaurant, or shop for local handicrafts and art work. Embarkation begins at 4pm.

Day 2 – August 6, 2018

Amsterdam/Utrecht, Netherlands

After breakfast, city tour of Amsterdam with canal trip and North Holland excursion.

Day 3 – August 7, 2018

Cologne, Germany

Arrive in Cologne this morning, where you will have a walking tour of Old Town and Cathedral Square and visit the spectacular 13th-century gothic cathedral – its twin spires are among the tallest in Europe. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to visit some of the local shops or have a coffee at a quaint café. Or, if you prefer, enjoy a glass of Kölsch, Cologne’s famous smoked beer.

Day 4 – August 8, 2018

Oberwesel, Germany

This morning, cruise through the picturesque Rhine Gorge, with its castles, fortress ruins, and the legendary Lorelei Rock. Arrive in Oberwesel, where you will enjoy an afternoon walking tour. You’ll have free time to explore the a narrow alleys lined with wine taverns and restaurants.

Day 5 – August 9, 2018

Miltenberg/Wertheim, Germany

Arrive in Miltenberg, where a motor coach tour will take you to Wertheim, where you will see the historic city center followed by free time to explore the town on your own.

Day 6 – August 10, 2018

Würzburg, Germany

This morning, take a guided tour of Würzburg showing you all of the major sights or visit the Residenz Palace and gardens, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s best examples of Baroque architecture.

Day 7 – August 11, 2018

Bamberg, Germany

Arrive this afternoon in enchanting Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Disembark for a guided walking tour of this medieval gem and see the breathtaking cathedral, the Old Town Hall that straddles the river, the city’s serpentine streets, and elegant 18th-century mansions. Sample some of Bamberg’s famous smoked beer before continuing your cruise this evening to Nuremberg.

Day 8 – August 12, 2018

Nuremberg, Germany / Disembarkation

Disembark after breakfast for your transfer to Prague for a 2-night post cruise tour.

or

Stay onboard for another week and cruise the Danube river all the way to Budapest.

Day 9 – August 13, 2018

Prague, Czech Republic

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour and see why Prague is considered one of Europe’s most attractive cities. Visit the 1,000 year-old Prague Castle and St. Vitus before crossing the famous Charles Bridge to the Old Market Square. (B)

Departure day. Transfer to airport for your departure flight.
