Itinerary:
Day 1 – October 20, 2025: Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
Breakfast at the Reverie Saigon Hotel. Today lunch is on your own and you are at leisure until transfer to the Tan Son Nhat airport for taking a short domestic flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, proceed outside the terminal, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Tonight we transfer to a local restaurant for an included dinner.

Day 2 – October 21, 2025: Hanoi – Half Day City Tour
This morning, following breakfast, we meet our guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex: The Vietnamese leader’s mausoleum, which overlooks Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s house, behind the mausoleum, built on top of stilts, this simple, traditional house sits in a botanical garden by a lotus pond, walk up the steps to see some of his belongings in his bedroom.
Afterwards we visit the Hoa Lo prison (“Hanoi Hilton”) and learn about the decades preceding its use as a place for holding American POWs. It was also used by the French to imprison Vietnamese patriots. We then transfer back to the city center to see Hoan Kiem Lake and its legendary Ngoc Son Temple and The Huc Bridge.
After, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch we visit the Temple of Literature. Built in the early 11th century, it became Vietnam’s first university. Then, we enjoy an electronic cart tour through the city’s charming historic quarter to explore the hidden alleys, cafes and shops. Following, we watch a charming water puppet performance after which we transfer back to hotel for an evening at leisure and dinner on your own. If you choose, you may enjoy an included buffet in the Club Intercontinental Lounge. (B/L)
Overnight in Hanoi at Intercontinental Westlake hotel
Day 3 – October 22, 2025: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay
This morning following breakfast, we transfer to Ha Long via motor coach. We’ll arrive to the Paradise Elegance around 12:30. After check-in and a short briefing about our cruise, we’ll enjoy our welcome lunch at Le Marin Restaurant. During lunch we sail toward Ha Long Bay, passing the famous Fighting Cocks Islet, and Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves.
Following lunch, your first excursion is a visit to Tung Sau Pearl Farm, an area in Ha Long Bay dedicated to growing pearls and practicing a handmade technique based on Vietnamese tradition and Japanese technology. This is also an ideal destination for kayaking (available for an additional charge).
Your second stop of the day is the Titop island where you can climb to the top for the panoramic view of the surrounding area and spend some time on the beach.
Alternatively, you can opt for an afternoon of pampering at Le Parfum Spa or an afternoon tea in Le Piano Bar.
Once back on board there will be a cooking demonstration and pre-dinner sunset cocktails. We anchor overnight at Coconut Tree Island.
After dinner in Le Marin restaurant, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy live music at Le Piano Bar. Or, take the opportunity for squid fishing, a spa treatment at Le Parfum Spa or watch movies in your cabin. (B/L/D)
Day 4 – October 23, 2025: Halong Bay/Hanoi
Early this morning, watch the sunrise while taking part in a Tai Chi session on L’Odyssée Sundeck, followed by a light breakfast in Le Piano Bar.
Around 7:45 we make a visit to the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, where you can take in the panoramic views across Halong Bay after visiting the cave. Once back on board, enjoy breakfast as we once again cruise past Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves and Fighting Cocks Islet.
After a late morning check- out, we return to shore and journey back to Hanoi, with an included lunch en-route.
Upon arrival to Hanoi, we return to the Intercontinental Hotel for check-in and and evening at leisure to pack and rest for the journey home. (B/L)

Be amazed by Siem Reap’s most unique, authentic and top-rated evening entertainment. More than just a circus, Phare performers also use theater, music and dance to tell Cambodian stories—historical, folk and modern. Phare artists are graduates of Phare Ponleu Selpak, an NGO and professional arts training center in Battambang, Cambodia. The school was founded by nine young men returning from a refugee camp of the Khmer Rouge regime. Finding healing through the arts, they wanted to provide the same opportunity for poor, socially deprived and troubled youth. You will be astonished by the performers’ energy, emotion, enthusiasm and talent. It is not a show to miss.

Today is all about magnificent views. Your morning begins at Bakheng Hill, where a steep path will take you to Phnom Bakheng, the highest temple in Angkor. Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise overlooking the gates of Angkor Wat and the temples of Angkor—a truly breathtaking sight. Following a walk back down the hill, enjoy breakfast at the Angkor Café, with the gates of Angkor Wat as your view.
After breakfast, transfer to the South Gate of Angkor Thom and join a morning gondola ride along the ancient ruins on a small baray (a type of reservoir typical of ancient Khmer water management). Float along the baray, a typical ancient Khmer reservoir, on a gondola surrounded by ancient ruins. Finally, end your excursion at the ruins of Prasat Chrung, the Shrine of the Angle, whose wall makes for the perfect vantage point to take in the amazing landscapes.
Please note: As the dirt path to the temple can be steep and is not handicap accessible, this tour is recommended for more active travelers.
