Please note, tattoos are generally viewed as taboo in Japan. What this means in practice is that you will not be able to use most pools, public bathing facilities (onsens), or gyms. Kyoto: Half Day Temples Tour

During our tour of Kyoto on June 6th, we plan to visit the beautiful Kinkakuji Temple as well as the Arashiyama District. This optional half day tour will give you the chance for a deeper dive with visits of Nanzenji Temple, Philosopher’s Path, and Ginkakuji Temple.
